Welcome Back Forest Class!
I hope you had a lovely weekend!
This half term our topic is 'Under the Sea!' We will be reading some great stories and learning some facts about creatures that live under the sea.
Make sure you have a look at our Weekly Update to see what your Reception friends got up to before the half-term break! You can find the Weekly Update and WOW Board here.
his week we are reading 'Fidgety Fish'
Have you read this story before? What do you think might happen in the story? What problem might Fidgety Fish come across? Why do you think he is called fidgety?
Now listen to the story
What did you like about the story? Why was that your favourite part? How did Fidgety Fish escape? Why did he fall asleep straight away?

I hope you enjoyed the song. Now we are going to watch another video to help us learn more about time.
Now it's your turn to make your own clock. Get a paper plate or use an A4 piece of paper and cut out a circle. Write the numbers 1-12 on your clock. Use lollipop sticks/ pipe cleaners/ paper to make the long and short hands of the clock. Keep this for Wednesday's learning of time.
Before we return back to school, let's learn about germs and how to practise good hygiene. Watch the video below and listen to the story.
I look forward to seeing your learning!
