Reading

Watch the story again and answer these questions. Today we are going to be answering some questions about
The Papaya that Spoke. We call this exercise comprehension.
To comprehend means to show you understand something. When we answer questions it shows we understand the story.

Maths

We are learning fractions! Fractions are parts of a whole. We can use numbers to show how many parts of a whole we have.

Equivalent means equal in value. Equivalent fractions are fractions that equal the same amount. Let's look at the equivalent fractions 1/2 and 2/4.

Special Task

Today you have been given three poems to choose from. Learn one of them by heart.

Video yourself reciting the poem and email the video to matterhorn@sfdprimary.co.uk
