Phonics

Miss Cohen's, Emma's and Ms. Fullerton's groups - We are reviewing set 1 and 2 of our phonics sounds. Today we are going to have a go at reading the sentence and matching it with the correct picture. Once you have matched them, you can have a go at copying the sentence and drawing your own pictures.

Writing

On Tuesday we researched different types of sharks and wrote some facts about them. Today we are going to create our own shark and write some interesting facts. Remember in a non-fiction text such as an information book, we need to include facts that tells the reader the name of the animal, descriptions, what it eats and where it lives. Here is an example:

I can't wait to read all about your shark! :)

Special Task

Today's special task is to sign in British Sign Language. British Sign Language (BSL) is used mainly by people who are deaf or have hearing impairments. It involves the use of hand movements, gestures, body language and facial expressions to communicate.

Have a go at learning how to sign the song 'Baby Shark'
